Victoria Park Kindergarten is a modern, detached and well established purpose-built nursery located on Dumbarton Road in Whiteinch, Glasgow. We are a fun, friendly and family run nursery, established in 1998 who provide a modern, safe, comfortable learning environment for your child.
We offer childcare for children aged 6 weeks-until school age.
We have our Buttercup, Blossom and Bluebell Baby rooms (for under 2's), the Sunbeam Room for 2 year old's and our breathtaking Rainbow Room for 3-5 year old's.
The building has been specifically designed to incorporate the needs of the children with beautiful, bright and spacious playrooms (all with under-floor heating) and lots of windows. This provides children with the space that they need and also ensures that toys, books and play equipment are accessible to the children on a 'continuous provision' basis and easily accessible by all.
We also have a secure internal courtyard for outdoor play, an outdoor classroom and our silver spade award winning garden at the front of our building. We also have plenty of prams, baby buses and our 15 seater mini bus for outings and regular access to fresh air.
We have secure CCTV door entry systems and a reception area which is welcoming and has a receptionist on duty at all times. The nursery cook provide fresh home cooked lunches and a nutritious snack in line with our Healthy Eating Policy and the Set The Table Guidelines for Early Years.
We provide a high standard of education and care in an environment which children of all abilities and varied cultures can achieve their full potential and enjoy learning.
By support, understanding and example, our children are encouraged to give of their best in all areas of nursery life.
We are close to major road links, railway stations and on a bus route.
We are often asked why our parents are so enthused by Victoria Park Kindergarten. The answer is we want to give all our children the best possible start in life. We spend time getting to know our children and build close bonds that allow each child to develop and be challenged at their own pace in a fun and stimulating environment.
